Principal Attorney
Dan Ernst has been practicing as a civil litigator since graduating from NYU Law ten years ago. Before then, Dan was a Professor of Philosophy and International law in Seoul Korea at Ewha Woman’s University. His legal practice is now focused on Defamation law and Education Law.
Dan Ernst is currently arguing a case before the Colorado Court of Appeals that will affect defamation law in Colorado for years to come. He has extensive experience both defending against claims of defamation and in litigating on behalf of those who have been defamed. He has won tenure for professors after their University wrongly denied it, Defended students in multiple and various disciplinary hearings, and Obtained favorable results on a wide variety of issues for families with K-12 students.
Dan earned his doctorate from Yale in political philosophy, his law degree from NYU, and a B.A. in Physics from U.C. Berkeley. He grew up in Israel and California and now lives in Denver with his wife Annie and their dog "Floofer". They adore hiking and exploring our beautiful state and national parks.
